Hi, and thank you for taking the time to visit my application site. I'm genuinely excited about the opportunity to join Voldex as a QA Tester on Brookhaven. It is one of the most iconic Roblox experiences ever made, and contributing to its quality is exactly the kind of work I want to be doing.

Why Brookhaven?
Brookhaven is one of the most-played Roblox experiences ever built. Here is why I want to be part of the team protecting its quality.
I understand Roblox players
I have been on Roblox since 2016. I understand how players navigate social games, what creates friction, what makes an experience feel polished, and what kinds of issues end up in community reports. That understanding builds up gradually from years of genuine experience on the platform.
I've done this professionally
I have tested live Roblox games in structured, professional QA environments. I know how to reproduce issues systematically, write reports that developers can act on, and verify fixes without introducing regressions. Testing and playing are different disciplines, and I have experience in both.
Scale creates responsibility
Brookhaven reaches millions of players daily. At that scale, a small quality issue becomes visible to a large number of people very quickly. I want to be part of the team that catches those issues before they reach players, and I understand what it takes to maintain quality on a live, constantly-updated experience.

Work History
Do Big Studios
QA Tester
- Documented and reproduced gameplay bugs in Escape the Waves with full reproduction steps, giving developers actionable reports that shortened fix cycles and reduced back-and-forth.
- Conducted structured regression testing before each release, catching regressions early and preventing previously resolved issues from reaching live players.
- Collaborated directly with developers during live update windows, delivering real-time structured feedback that improved stability and reduced post-release hotfix frequency.
- Tested live game mechanics under real player conditions, surfacing edge cases and gameplay inconsistencies that improved overall player experience before updates went public.
Relevant to Brookhaven
- Tested live Roblox updates before release in a professional QA environment
- Identified and reproduced gameplay issues from a player perspective
- Delivered structured bug reports that developers could action immediately
- Verified fixes and conducted regression testing to prevent regressions reaching live servers
Gym League
QA Manager
- Coordinated a QA team of 15 testers across major game updates, structuring testing assignments by area and severity to maximise coverage and reduce the chance of bugs reaching live servers.
- Built a Planka-based roadmap for the full development team, making bugs, active features, and release priorities visible in one place. This reduced planning confusion and kept QA, development, and design aligned.
- Developed automated Discord webhook systems for deadline reminders and task notifications, eliminating manual follow-ups and keeping a distributed team on schedule without overhead.
- Introduced structured bug reporting workflows to replace informal reports, producing reproducible write-ups with severity and reproduction steps that developers could action immediately, cutting time-to-fix on critical issues.
- Monitored community-reported issues alongside internal QA, bridging player feedback into the development cycle to catch real-world problems before they escalated or spread.
- Led regression testing before every release, verifying that bug fixes held and new features did not break existing systems, which increased release confidence and reduced post-patch rollbacks.
- Designed promotional assets including game thumbnails, icons, and marketing materials, directly supporting the game's visual identity and player acquisition.
Relevant to Brookhaven
- Coordinated testing coverage across major live-game updates
- Managed bug tracking workflows that kept issues visible and prioritised
- Led regression testing to confirm update stability before release
- Worked alongside developers, 3D artists, designers, and community teams to align QA with development priorities
QA Mindset
Reproduce before reporting
A bug report without clear reproduction steps wastes development time. Before I report anything, I confirm I can reproduce it consistently and identify the minimum conditions required.
Think like a player first
I test features as a player would use them, not just as a tester checking boxes. That means testing the paths players actually take, not just the happy path.
Verify fixes, not just issues
Closing a bug when the fix ships isn't the end. I retest fixed issues and check adjacent systems to confirm nothing broke in the process.
Anticipate before release
The most valuable bugs are the ones caught before players find them. I think about what could go wrong during a specific update, not just what I'm assigned to test.
Sample Bug Report
House furniture resets to previous state after server reconnect
Live server
100% (all tested)
High (data loss)
Furniture positioned inside a house plot does not persist when the player rejoins or moves to a different server. Items appear correctly in the original session but revert to a prior saved state on reconnect.
- 1.Enter a house plot and move two or more furniture items
- 2.Leave the server and rejoin (or join a different server)
- 3.Navigate to the same house plot
- 4.Observe: furniture positions have reverted
Furniture positions persist across all sessions and servers
Positions revert to last-saved state from a prior session
Players lose customisation progress with no warning. Given the frequency of server hops in Brookhaven, this is likely to generate significant community reports immediately after deployment.
Why Voldex?
Not every studio operates at this scale. Here is why that scale matters to me.
Scale that makes QA meaningful
Voldex operates some of the most-played experiences on Roblox. At that scale, the gap between a good update and a bad one is measured in millions of player sessions. QA at this level has real, direct impact. That is the environment I want to work in.
Quality as a product value
Brookhaven's longevity comes from consistent quality and player trust. That does not happen without structured testing behind every update. QA is not just a checklist. It is part of what makes a live game sustainable over time.
A community worth protecting
Brookhaven has one of the most active communities on Roblox. Many of its players are young or casual users experiencing Roblox for the first time. Protecting the quality of what they encounter matters, and it is a responsibility I take seriously.
I am not applying because Brookhaven is popular. I am applying because the work is meaningful, the standards are high, and it is exactly the kind of QA environment where the skills I have developed in player perspective, structured testing, and team coordination create real value.
